The Makita BL1850B 18V 5Ah Li-ion LXT battery with LED battery indicators will work with current Li-ion chargers and has a 45 minute charge time on a DC18RC or DC18RD fast charger and a 110 minute charge time on the DC18SD standard charger. Fits all Makita 18V LXT Li-ion tools with Makita ‘Star’ technology so if your tool also has a ‘Star’ you can be assured of battery protection.
Charging these batteries at any time will have no effect on the memory of the battery, built-in shock absorbing features protect the battery, sixteen (16) firm holding contact terminals reduce the risk of power loss/fluctuation in high vibration work environments plus the battery’s built-in memory chip communicates with the charger to maximize battery life.
