Orders placed through this website by 3pm will be dispatched the same working day (or the subsequent Monday for weekend orders), subject to stock availability, for next working day delivery*.

You will receive an email letting you know your order has been dispatched on a next working day service. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery will be attempted twice on consecutive days. If the carriers need to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.

For purchases made via this website, delivery is charged at £7.95 + VAT for orders up to the value of £75 (ex VAT), to UK mainland addresses. Orders over £75 (ex VAT) placed via this website will be delivered free of charge.

Unfortunately, we do have to charge a surcharge for delivery to exotic and far-flung places, like the Scottish Highlands and Islands, but we will cover the basic postage charge if your order is over the £75 (ex VAT) limit. These amounts vary from place to place, so please see here for details.

We usually use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘please leave with neighbour’ or ‘please leave parcel in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property (e.g. in the porch or shed) while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.

Some items are too large and/or heavy for delivery by courier (e.g. ride-on mowers, log splitters etc) and have to be delivered on a pallet. We are able to offer this service free of charge to the areas marked in green on the pallet delivery map. However, because of the significant extra cost to us, if the delivery postcode is in an area marked in orange on the map, this method of delivery will incur a nominal £50.00 (+VAT) surcharge. Unfortunately, if the destination postcode is in any other area, we cannot offer a delivery service for these items. Please note you must be on site for pallet delivery and the item can only be delivered on to hard standing. We will contact you to arrange your pallet delivery, to find a delivery date to suit you and to ensure there is adequate access to site and suitable hard standing for delivery.
